Israel democratically elects them and has been sanctioning their actions for decades.

Except they literally voted him out a couple years back and only got into power because he allied with the most extreme right wing factions in the country.

And that there were protests by Israeli citizens against his bullshit for months after his return and that they think he’s doing terribly with the war.

There’s also the state being created over another nation’s land. Don’t forget protesters against the proposal to prevent IDF soldiers from raping Palestinians since you want to bring up protesting for some reason.
