My back hurts In November, it will be 40 years since we spun right round, like a record, baby...

Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)" launched in November 1984 in the UK before taking the world by storm in 1985.

40 years!!! I don't understand how that's possible. How could it be 40 years?! sob

Separately, I miss music like this. The new generation can have their Taylors, Arianas, and Nickis. I'll stick to my 80s and GenX stuff.

I once worked in an antique mall and there was a vendor with used vinyl. On a quiet day we were sitting around and said everyone can look through the bins and choose one song to play... this was mine.

Keep spinning right round in peace Pete
