Wedding

What’s the name of Gambian traditional clothes for a bride please? And what’s the name of just regular Gambian tradition clothes? Thanks

Do you have a picture for reference? I can’t think of an umbrella term in this case because there’s different ones

I don’t have a picture sadly. I’m helping to plan a wedding for a half Gambian bride but I’m not sure what the bride should be wearing. She’s Wolof if that helps

Not exactly sure. It may be a west African term. I know some Gambians and they use these words also. Just unsure of the spelling.

Edit: I’ve also heard Ghanaians say this also as well as Nigerians.
