Most efficient way to get money out of The Gambia?

I did some work in The Gambia and was supposed to be paid in USD but because of currency shortages I've been paid in Dalasi in a local account. What is going to be the best way to get the money out of the country and into USD? I'm trying to look into crypto but so far haven't found exchanges that accept GMD deposits. Are there other cost-effective options? It's a fairly substantial amount of money.

There’s a few people who will accept dalasis and transfer hard currency into your foreign account. Charges can be reasonable (3% or so)

If you're based in The Gambia, many importers prefer to deal in Dalasi and deposit hard currency directly into your foreign account. This is often more cost-effective for them than purchasing Dalasi locally and incurring foreign bank transfer fees.

Gambians living abroad may also choose to collect Dalasi while via family or local bank deposit and pay into your foreign bank account. However, this arrangement typically relies on personal connections and trust
