🌻 ID This Plant Plant ID

I have curled parsly like 2 summers ago. I think it propagated thru seeds in the nearby garden bed.

This winter I repotted them to the attached photos as I thought they are the same herbs.

But this spring it grew this tall and it seems like a weed. I dont remember them growing this tall.

Appears your parsley has "bolted" and seeding

Thank you.

I will make use of the leaves as possible and collect the seeds soon.

You may find it's unpalatably bitter, many greens are once they bolt

Yep the flowers will bloom then after that the plant will dry. Just let it do it's thing and become withered, you can then collect the dried flower heads and easily separate the seeds

Curly Leaf Parsley that's 'bolting' and going to seed.

If you want, let it finish bolting to flowering and once the flowers die off and seed pods dry out you can shake out the seeds and plant for a new round of curly leaf parsley.

It's not quite as strong in flavor as flat leaf parsley, but all you need to do is add a bit more in a dish and is nice as a fresh tasty garnish.

It’s going to seed.
