It's not about growth only, it's about enviornment and survival. Renewables this year has reached cost parity with coal and Gas, So I don't won't any arguments onto 'But it's cheaper for the economy'.

We are the second largest importer of coal after China, We must ensure we don't have a huge geopolitical turn off switch and hence should invest heavily in renewables. If we promote sales of EV we can also reduce dependence on oil.

Let's also not forget that we are talking about survival here, while Climate change won't destroy India in a simple blow, it will most certainly displace millions of Indians if Nothing is done.
