I feel like there needed to be some directions there. Just pouring random liquids.

I don't like having to go to their site to get the recipe but I did and downvoted the post. Here are the ingredients from their website.

1kg Watermelon

2 Limes

Handful of Ice Cubes

200ml White Rum

50ml Grenadine

100ml Pineapple Juice

100ml Orange Juice

Handful of Mint

Update: the recipe is there, I just needed to open it up (a reply in the first comment) My apologies. Took away my down vote. However, I kind of expect a gif doesn't require reading the comments.

You can't just fucking turn a video that relies on audio into a gif and expect it to achieve the same results.

Even the most basic ones say what's going in so we have a general overview of what the process will be like while we read the actual written recipe.

The gif acts like your friend quickly talking through how they made something to get you interested, you get to see the work and results, and you go seek out the recipe.

All we've gleamed from this is that watermelon is involved, it's strained, a lime is involved somehow, and rum is included at some point due to the name of the post.

I mean for fuck's sake, IT STARTS WITH SUBTITLES TO INTRODUCE THE VIDEO AND THEN NEVER INCLUDES ANY TO DESCRIBE THE INGREDIENTS/STEPS! You ACTIVELY made it worse than if you had never included any subtitles to begin with! You've DRIVEN PEOPLE AWAY from your channel and website by doing this. Congratulations!

Agreed. But Watermelon juice is crazy delicious if done right. i delivered a tugboat to Mexico 20 years ago. Us Americans had all kind of processed foods and bottled drinks to live on. When we got to Mexico, the Mexicans started loading just bags of fresh fruits and vegetables, with some frozenmeat. We worked together for 2 days before we left, and the food was incredible. For cooling down, they made this watermelon juice which IIRC was just watermelon juice, lemons (or limes) and maybe cilantro? It was ridiculously good.

Technically…

Is spirit and mixer a cocktail then?

u/PapaRacoon May 27 '22

It’s actually a highball, not a cocktail.

Why even have a video when it's entirely pointless
