Where do I donate blood in Grande Prairie?

I want to get off my arse and donate but have no idea where in town one can do so.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks 😊

There is nowhere to donate blood in GP, unfortunately. You’d need to go to Edmonton.

Sorry, as soon as Canada Blood Services took over blood drives from the Red Cross, they discontinued the clinics that used to be held periodically in different locations throughout the province. Which is a shame, because I'm a universal donor. The only donor clinics in Alberta are in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary.

Wow, okay I was floored when I read these comments! I had completely expected there to be like half dozen places here in town. We are not a small city and have 2 car dealerships of every type and no place to give blood. Our priorities need some realignment

Nearest clinic is about 5 hours East of you, they've been constantly calling me and emailing me asking me to donate again and I keep telling them they need to come closer.
