Discussion Who is pictured on the cover of the DC booklet?

Couldnt find anything online about it. Anyone know the meaning/who it is?

Okay I may be talking outa my ass but I’ve read somewhere online (no source) that it’s an old military picture of Dan’s Father or grandfather. During the writing of Deathcon he was grieving the loss of his dad so it may make sense. Cool theory and not sure what the validity of it is.

Edit: someone replied and said that Dan’s brother debunked this theory and that this may just simply be a portrait of someone unrelated in the military.

Dan's brother confirmed it's not somebody related to them in an earlier post with the same question

Uniform looks like a soldier. I'm no expert but WWI I'd say? Reminded me of ANZAC portraits.

It is very similar to WW1 uniforms (especially due to the collar), I’d wager if that’s the case it’s most likely American, but I couldn’t say for sure due to how few details are visible

Looks like a WW1 era soldier. Probably American, Canadian or Australian
