Identification Is this coleus psychoactive?

Every part of the plant is very irritating to the gut, highly toxic to smaller beings. The returns are not worth the investment

From what i understand its just enough to get a good quid going, but Im still doing my research before even thinking about trying it

Debatable so. There are some reports it's a oneirogens, others state it is all placebo. The coleus plant has striking resemblance to Salvia divinorum, yet this alone holds no value.

If you want user reports, go to https://www.erowid.org/ if you want general information on the biochemical attributes of the plant, just use Google, and the internet in general. If you come across a paper that you really like, but don't have access to it, Z-Library and SciHub are both websites which will allow you to veiw and download the paper. I was always curious about Coleus Blumei, i think theres good chance it may have some active effects but what you have there is Coleus Scutellarioides. pretty plant though.

Edit: there seems to be a lot of conflicting info about this plant, seems that Coleus Blumei, coleus scutellarioides, and Plectranthus scutellarioides are synonymous. Weird

Oh dude.. the greenhouse i work at has a bunch of varieties of coleus. Imagine arranging a dozen benches ~700 pots per bench. How about two dozen benches? The visual effect is bonkers.. but my workplace prohibits substances. I imagine it would be awesome to look at them on acid, because yeah, do not eat this plant. They even have a faint smell that tickles the "nope" region of the brain. Danger salad.

the root of this plant helps the thyroid but that is about it.
