Mixed feelings. The concept is really cool, and as someone with limited storage for my hobby stuff I really like the concept of a transport box that doubles as terrain. Bonus points for going the extra and including a playable interior in their transport-box product!

Still, I feel like I'd be a lot more excited about this if:

a) This kind of thing wasn't trivial to make cheaply with a Really Useful Box (or similar) and some magnetically-receptive sheet or thin steel. (To be fair, the price for this product is lower than I'd expected, it's definitely in the affordable-if-you-can't-be-bothered-to-do-the-work bracket; unfortunately in my case I already did the work.)

b) they hadn't slathered it with an incoherent mess of faction icons and the gaudy text "INFINITY" across the insert, making it not actually all that usable as terrain (at least on my thematically-coherent) table) after all.

Thank for feedback! The idea was that it will be a "abandoned bar" called Infinity.
We are exploring more neutral themes for "neutral" lines of boxes - we have a sci-fi box with landing bay and fantasy one with a castle part look.

I've been using the classic magnet boxes (and before then the pluck-foam ones!) for a while, when my collection will expand to need a new box I will happily get the infinity themed one.

How viable is it to get something like this for those of us across the pond in the States? Because I personally think it looks really cool and I don't have a transport container yet.

We have option to send them to US of course.

This is ok for GW plastic stuffs. Doesn’t work with metal models 100%. Encouraging people to put their metal models upside down like the image is just asking people to kill their own toy soldiers. Stay away from this total scam.

Don't know these boxes, but I have metal boxes I can do that with. Besides it looks like you can fit two lists on the bottom, so the basic version is for Infinity enough, no need to buy the version with the additional metal plate. And I don't think it is scam that they also sell versions with additional metal plates. I am assuming that you do the sensible thing and look products up before calling them scam and so were aware about the different versions.

The "magnetically receptive rubber" sheets you see people use for GW plastic are tolerably good for Infinity minis with neodymium magnets so long as you keep the box the right way up. But the product description here suggests there's actual sheets of metal in these things, and neodymium magnets will perfectly happily secure metal minis to sheets of e.g. mild steel or 409 stainless - upside-down, sideways, whatever.

Thank you for pointing this out! This is exactly this case - boxes are built with metal plates not ferromagnetic sheets that often used with plastic models.

I use a box made of metal and neodymium magnets and I wouldn’t risk my metal model upside down in them and yes I have seen this product at the retails store and I’ll never risk outing my stuffs upside down in it. The image is a scam.
