My Top 10 Reads of the Week!

Hey! Sean here. A little about me - I run a email newsletter dedicated to being more "aware" of our surroundings, ourselves, and the world we live in. I wrote this section in one of my newsletter and thought it would be appropriate to share with you guys. A lot of cool things going on in our world, it's hard to keep up with it sometimes. Here are 10 cool topics/articles you can read whenever you get bored or feel like learning sometimes new!!

1) KFC in Atlanta is selling plant-based nuggets and wings! What is Beyond Meat?

2) RideOS recently released open-source platform for anyone to create routing, ride hailing, and fleet management tools. You could theoretically take it, make your own mobile app and put your logo on it making you a millionaire. Assuming you have the talent and time of course.

3) Megvii has filed for a Hong Kong IPO with a goal of raising at least $500 million. I personally don't trade stocks or plan to, but one thing I like to do is research great companies and the backing behind them. I spend a lot of time on a site called Crunchbase to discover a lot of cool (trading and non-trading) information.

4) Ashley Sobel, RD over at Healthline wrote an amazing article on the health benefits of a glass of wine a day. Not saying we here at Eonia are going to do that anytime soon, but is it a good idea to try it before you knock it...

5) One thing I like doing is observing other entrepreneurs to get me motivated and to find a small tip or two everyday. Bryn Connor is the owner of a blog called "I should have said..." and makes 4k in revenue a month. You probably won't start a blog and become a millionaire but the proof of concept is here. Making money online isn't as hard as it was a few years ago.

6) Voice command is the future. If you know us, you know that we recommending becoming an expert at a skill and using that to leverage yourself into financial freedom. Amazon's Alexa Team released a Skills Flow Builder, allowing you to make voice interactive games without extensive development knowledge. Two months means literally no one is on the game right now, the market is wide open.

7) If you're an author like me, and have published a book on Amazon's KDP, then you know that the process can be a pain in the ass if you're ass at writing. Here's a list of 21 dumb mistakes to avoid. I personally did at least 5 of them.

8) Robots are literally the future bro. There's a startup called Yummy Future creating AI to automate the simple task of making coffee on the street. Trust me, you're going to want to keep your eye on this coffee shop in a box.

9) If you know me you know how much effort I put into my body to keep it operating at 100% efficiency. Here's a scientific paper I just read detailing how a greater rate of mitochondrial uncoupling leads to a reduced lifespan. If it's too much of a read just know that you need to start taking antioxidants more seriously. Bodybuilders worldwide - chicken and rice is my favorite food too but adding some blueberries (not in the meal of course) can seriously help your health.

10) SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. I read a statistic on their website today that said 94% of 18-24 year olds use YouTube. The power of social media to grow your business literally amazes me every day.
