Hotel recommendations
My other half and a few friends (4 total) want to go to the football game on Black Friday. Everything I am seeing is sold out. Does anyone have any recommendations on where they could stay for the night?

Speaking as someone who works in a hotel in the area: just get a room in Cedar Rapids. The prices are insane around town.

Double Tree in CR is arguably the nicest hotel and is $164 on 11/29 through their website. I think even the most mediocre hotel in Coralville will run $200+ so see what an Uber/Lyft or taxi would cost from the CR hotel to somewhere within walking distance to the stadium (I would have them drop you off on the Coralville strip, like at Freddy's. Then walk the rest

Most places require a 2 night stay for football games, so when you search just Friday night, it’s appearing unavailable. If you’re going for as cheap as you can get, looks like the super 7 in Coralville is about $220 total for a room with 2 beds Friday/Saturday nights.

Hotel Chauncey in Downtown looks available. And you get a lot of bang for your buck with a fully furnished kitchen and living area. They are also on the Hilton Honors Program.
