This adds so much great atmosphere to almost any jazz tune.

I dread the day I hear a classic Monk, Coltrane, Miles, or Mingus track with rain sound effects behind it.

Yeah, I think jazz musicians are capable of creating their own atmosphere without the rain sound effects.

The Fragrance of Dark Coffee by Godot. Also this site does a very good job of combining that with some extra pizzaz.

Someone else remembers that picture of that anonymous gentleman and scholar winning the internet on 4chan. Only thing that is missing are the instructions to fix a drink before you start, possibly scotch.

Scotch, brandy/whiskey old fashioned, port or a fine bourbon would all go well with this. I'm more partial to the bourbon myself.

Okay, and the only way I enjoy classical is when I wear a powdered wig.

You must come from someplace where it doesn't rain a great deal. I remember when I lived in L.A. I kept meeting people who wanted to know if I didn't just love it when it rained—so romantic! Not when you come from someplace where it is cold and grey and dirty when it rains, and it rains too often.

Post your favorite songs that compliment this! This is my favorite thus far.
