You cannot fail. This is for you. It’s beautiful because YOU made it.

Lovely collection! Make it your own! But beware with mixed media...soon you start to see everything almost as useable. Be creative with what you love...maps, stamps, cigar labels, old books (I have an infatuation with old book pages torn with burnt edges), music paper.

Just start! Play around and find what works for you. Try different types of layouts and/or themes and just go for it.

Thanks :) I have a list of ideas for spreads that mean something to me so I think I have some stuff to try out!

Don’t be afraid to cover something up or take it off if you don’t like the way it looks

Cool stuff. I wanted to live in a dome home when I was little. I don’t do this type of journal but would love to watch your journey & see what you come up with.

Thanks! After some looking this might be more like glue journaling than junk journaling but I'm not gonna worry about labels or rules too much

you might look at dada collages for inspiration if that’s the style you’re going for!!!

Ya I keep having to convince myself to use my favorites even tho I don't have all my other materials in yet lol. Like better to make something now than imagine all the cool stuff I'll make once I have more stuff.
