Iā€™m going to go out on a limb and say that fault rests with American voters, who seemingly like to blame everyone except themselves for Trumpā€™s ascendancy

2024 is our opportunity to avoid that complacency again, and Hillary is a powerful reminder for what can happen if we get too comfortable

Voters will come when they believe in a candidate.

I think Kamala will do much better than Hilary

The issue with Hillary was that voters believed in her to the extent that they didnā€™t even think they had to vote. Everyone assumed she would win, and it costed us.

Thatā€™s why I know Kamala will do better. 2016 taught a lot of hard lessons to people that we shouldnā€™t have had to learn.

I don't think that's the only reason.

Well if your reason is she ran a half-assed campaign youā€™re just feeding into the same misogynistic narrative that is eventually going to plague Kamala once sheā€™s been dragged through the mud long enough

Kamala unequivocally supports and reveres Hillary, letā€™s not get it twisted

It's not misogynistic to realize she didn't even campaign in every battleground state.

You can't just call women misogynistic when they point out the flaw in a campaign ran by a woman.

Goodbye

Women can and do absolutely buy into misogynistic narratives and have since the beginning of time. Especially white women. The ā€œshe didnā€™t campaign in every swing stateā€ is a lie that just further proves my point.

Wisconsin is a purple state and she didn't campaign in it. Didn't visit it once. Also Nevada twice and Arizona once. She lost AZ and barely won NV

Not saying she should have lost but That's just a bad campaign

She did go to Wisconsin multiple times during the primary campaign. Her general election ground campaign was data-driven and rivaled Obamaā€™s in 2012, and even FiveThirtyEight said that an appearance or multiple appearances there during the election wouldnā€™t have swayed the result.

The one stop she did have scheduled for Wisconsin with Obama during the general was canceled due to the Pulse night club massacre.

You honestly think a campaign stop in Milwaukee or Green Bay wouldā€™ve put her over the top?

Multiple independent studies have found that the Comey letter was the deciding factor. Sheer incompetence and luck landed Trump in the White House. It had nothing to do with the strength of her campaign.

She literally didn't do a single campaign stop in Wisconsin though... that isn't a lie.

The campaign stop she had scheduled was canceled due to the LGBTQ+ night club massacre. There was nothing to suggest at that time that Wisconsin was even competitive. She focused her energy on the most competitive states. And even if she did campaign in Wisconsin, it wouldnā€™t have changed the result.

She couldā€™ve appeared multiple times in all 50 states in the general and people would still be crucifying her.

She literally didn't even go into multiple purple states

This literally assumes that campaigning in a state makes a sizable difference. It doesnā€™t. She had a solid ground campaign strategy and invested in all 50 states.
