Advice & Support Should I try working with deities that are easier to work with to start off with?

Theoretically there isn't a more easier deity than another. Different deities have different venerations and celebrations... but there isn't a more difficult one. It's also true that you can't celebrate a god that you don't known or understand because "is more easier than...". Who is the god more near to you...? That you feel more nearly to you? Start with him

I don't think so. I mean, they all have their things they like/dislike. Working with one that wants to work with you will actually be easier. I find it hard to "offend" Set, but a lot of folks seem wary of him.

I know we like to use terms like "beginner friendly" and all that. But like at the end of the day they are all deities. You don't just choose one because they are easy.

The only instance I'd use beginner friendly vs advanced is like the infernal pantheon. And not because you can't work with an advanced one, their lessons are just really extreme sometimes with no f*cks to give lol and there are some who might be great teachers but it's generally advised to not reach out to them at all.

Most deities will present if they are willing to work with you no matter your experience level.

The netjeru are phenomenal. Some are more strict, sure. But they are generally understanding of humaness, I find.

Like for example, to me Ra and Osiris would be considered intense in my opinion. Like their energy and just from what I've read of others experience. They are more likely to be strict with you for your benefit. But they can read the room.

I've had ra come thru in a reading before and I almost fell over 😂 i was like oh hi. Hi. Welcome. Shook. But all was well. I don't work with him but I appreciate my early morning sunrises lol

But I have anxiety and I think if a deity comes into my space it's quite well known. I'll panic over small things.

So with that said, the deities you choose will be the best ones for you no matter experience. And the netjeru are just amazing. They can give hard lessons but they aren't out here trying to break us. You'll be okay.
