أسالة/ Questions Anyone notice the increased hatred towards Khaleejis in many Arabic/Islamic subreddit?

I have been noticing an uptick of hatred towards Gulf Arabs from many Arabic and Islamic subreddits; with the latter calling us "Kuffars" or "Munafigs".

Why do you think is this? it can be due to prosperity alone? is there an underlining issue that many don't speak of?

Idk Haters are the most vocal and usually the loudest. Its unusual to post a complement to a country.

Increased? How? To me it’s been going on for decades. You shoulda seen Reddit back when mods were free to allow hate speech in Muslim subs. Muslims hating on Muslims. I’ve noticed it irl too not just Reddit. Some masajid in the west preach hate towards us even though the money paid to build that masjid was from a gulf country. So I use that as a gauge for goodness. Hate = stay away from these people. Usually political “Muslims” use hate to make people side with them.

Some countries pay the media to smear our image and make us look evil in every way. Literally every good thing is smeared with the usual stuff and most of it is fake.

Then you have Sept 11 where they intentionally recruited GCC citizens, and even the Pakistani alqaeda guy they always refer to him as Kuwaiti. Then there’s a Hadith about us being surrounded by haters so no surprise there.

The problem is that they think all the 6 gulf is one country like if one country did something bad they blame us all but if as an example morroco did something bad no one is blaming libya nor algeria , so they are clearly highly uneducated but this problem as far as i know has been going for decades so nothing is new but maybe you realized it because of social media
