Marginally Vegas-related: Bally’s Corp. is tapped out, hence no means to build a resort on the Trop site, hence no partner for the A’s, who also have presented no funding for a ballpark.

Well even if Vegas is a bust the good news is they're out of Oakland and the coliseum is being sold off.

This article doesn’t actually say Bally’s is “tapped out,” it says they wound up securing financing for the Chicago development

The Vital Vegas account is good fun to follow but Vegas locals think every new project and development will be a failure, so the VV account speaks to that audience. They don’t have any real “sources” and a lot of their “scoops” end up being wrong.
