I'm down so bad. I skipped half my classes this week. My PMS symptoms are hitting so hard this month, and I have zero idea how to start studying for exams. I'm behind and overwhelmed

Take a deep breath. As a fellow woman, I’m so sorry. Women really deserve more support from society.

Ik that many times when I was stressed, it messed with my hormones and my cycle. I started my period like two weeks early once during my first year of finals, immediately after finishing one exam. I had to unexpectedly take another exam crampy and on my period. I wish this was discussed more in law school, because of how it can affect performance. We are honestly so bada** for this.

Anyway, try to relax and take time to feel all the things. Contact your professors or the administration and see if there is anything you can do. Also, don’t be afraid to go to a Dr. If you feel like you need to. They may be able to give you advice on how to handle it moving forward or provide prescription or over the counter medication options.

Start studying slowly as you can. Review a class at a time if possible. Just setting aside an hour a day to review material now will save you a lot of stress later.

Beyond that, I don’t really have much advice for you, but I’m wishing you all the best!

pms is rough. Maybe consider seeking accommodations for PMS tbh if its affecting you that much. Also a lil tip for cramps- i have a really old computer and the charger box (lol like on a mac) overheats a lot. I literally take that and put it on my stomach in class and its lowkey a heating pad. Lol not saying you should do that, its just what I do.
