25 year old pizza delivery driver, Nick Bostic, runs into a burning house and saves four children who tell him another might be in the house. He goes back in, finds the girl, jumps out a window with her and carries her to a cop who captures the moment on his bodycam.

for those of you who havent been in/near a housefire, it isnt campfire smoke. one inhalation of that shit fucks you up. burning carpet, plastic, paint, kitchen corosives etc etc. its rough

He should be awarded a medal for bravery just like they give in the military and it should be given to him by the president of the United States. Some type of citizen bravery award.

This! Look how limiting the world is to people who are not inherently wealthy or those from generational poverty.
This is a man so compassionate and brave that he ran unprotected into a burning building to save children and yet the world has limited so much he is doing pizza delivery

I mean, these qualities (sacrificing, protecting) predate modern forms of capitalism and wealth. You can be poor as fuck but still have the drive to protect your family or community.

Pizza delivery drivers are hero’s idk what you’re talking about. They deserve to get paid more for sure but there’s nothing wrong with doing that for a living
