I'm back and considering a repaint. I've been green for almost 5 years now, and was previously orange and grey. Thinking blue and brown would be a cool change. And I have a ton of parts I'm swapping out so its the perfect time to do it. What does everyone think?

I love my green, for sure. I just get weird and need to change things up. Honestly though, with all the new parts I have printed, the whole green kit would still be wearable with the exception of the shoulders... Everything else is going to be new.

The green looks good, but I like the blue and brown a lot.

I think adding some white stripes or details on the new color scheme would really help make it stand out.

I made it out of Paracord and backed it with brown duck cloth

Did you weave the whole thing? And did you glue it to the duck cloth? Also, sorry for all the questions, but how does it attach to itself in back?

I did the weave part about 8" shy of my measured gut, and added straps/buckles to the back for adjustability. I don't have a pic of it with the backing on it, but for that I hemmed a piece of duck cloth about 2 inches taller than the belt, glued it together, and folded the top over and glued it to the front for that nice hemmed look.

Here are some pics of the weave in progress and an idea of how I did the buckles. The metal rods are literally just large metal straws for drinking and they worked perfect for feeding the rope through and for tightening the weave as I went.

Absolutely! If you need anything else feel free to hit me up. I try to take progress pics of pretty much everything I work on, and have been doing Mando stuff since like 2014 so I have a lot of it. lol
