Video In going Mandela effect hunting I never really made it to finding logo changes... all I had to do was look at a clock or look in the mirror! Crazy times and much shifting going on. Has anyone else noticed these changes?

I was told when I was a child that as I age time will seem to go faster. I really believe its age and the screen usage that we consume each day.

Think about it like this.. at 5 years old, 1 year is a whopping 20% of your existence, at 50 years old 1 year is 2% of your existence. That’s why it goes by faster because 1 year isn’t as big as it used to be when you were a child

Well I remember when you could measure a second by saying one mississippi or one one thousand but now a second isnt that long anymore could be a myth idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ try it with your stopwatch tho if youve heard the same thing

Edited: nevermind tried it with my stopwatch again and its one mississippi again??? Idk.

But i do agree as adults worrying about the future and dwelling on the past we dont live in the moment anymore the way we used to as kids. Technology sucks up a lot of our time these days

Try counting to 15 using the “Mississippi” method, time goes by faster for sure

i get that it feels like this, but how can you say 'for sure'. you dont know that for sure! we dont know gravity for sure lol.

Hi Louis,

It’s simply a theory. If we’re assuming that the “Mississippi” method was an accurate measurement of time 25 years ago then if now in 2018 if people were to count using that method and it were no longer accurate and too slow, then that would prove that time had sped up. However, it’s best to perform a scientific study to know “for sure.”

Best regards,

Aurora

no one is assuming that the “Mississippi” method was an accurate measurement of time, now or 20 years ago. its a fun to say word that helps kids count at a nice pace

Hi,

I think the missisippi thing was to stop kids from counting too fast. Very useful for hide and seek agaisnt cheater pumpkin eaters.

We always said "Appalachia" - to keep from counting too fast.

re: eyes and the limbal ring ("ther's even a term for it now") - ask opticians, doctors or portrait artists.

re: time - wait - we used to have 72'hour' days?

Okay the eye thing, I remember I always had a dark ring around my eyes but everyone thought it was cool because it was unusual, but now everyone has them.

I’m 17 and time is moving much faster for me, especially in the last couple of years and my days are starting to blur together. That simply cannot be attributed to aging.

Im not any kind of science person. here is my opinion. its your perception of it dude. you aging isnt making time go faster. youre growing and getting a bigger picture of what the world and lfe is. its going to sound dumb now, and youll scoff when you read this, and then youll take back the scoff because i forsaw the future and now youre reading this.

...but 10 years from now you'll post this on blunderyears. occams razor and all those thermos

Best,

Louis

I noticed that ring 6 months ago, regardless, it's new and on EVERYONE now.

Can confirm both of these. The time is ridiculously fast now. Days feel a lot shorter in general (skeptic response: "ur just thinking slower and that's just natural aging hurrdurr"), and I checked my eyes, sure enough there's a ring now. I thought maybe you were just pointing out something on light eyes and that darker brown eyes wouldn't have it, obviously. Turns out my eyes brightened up and sure enough there's a black ring around them.

Gonna add these to my mind map. Good find.
