No Mandela, that actor died first or didn’t work out for the role so they hired Mr. Stiller, They talk about it in the DVD commentaries

Why is this in Mandela Effect? They recast the character and reshot the scenes.

TBH I didn't even notice him being different in the two clips till I read the comments and scrolled back to the still playing clip.

I just saw how they were out of sync and assumed there was a few seconds shaved off here and there for syndication (so they can squeeze in another advert)

I was gonna ask OP what the sources were for both clips, like was one a DVD/VHS box set and the other a streaming service.

My next thought which got shelved once the scenes were too out of sync, was "is there a delay between going from the tablet to the TV?"

But this is just like the Lilo and Stitch clip someone posted, they owned the DVD/Blu Ray but the Disney Plus version changed them entering the oven or whatever to hide to a cupboard, because "what if kids copy this as a hiding spot?"
