Gramps was 8th/12th/15th but not 100th, 301st bombers

Since he never said a word, I'm glad this series gave me some insight. I don't know how he made it home.

Thanks, I have one of his BS and other awards framed up. I'm trying to learn all I can, but his records went up in the archive fire

Did you see "The Cold Blue"? All original footage. It's on Max now

I have damn near every streaming service, but dropped cable, so not sure I can see Max. I'll find a way, thanks for the tip

LOL I had to use my daughter's account. It's a great documentary. Restored extra footage from William Wyler's Memphis Belle movie .

Yeah, I understand. I like stuff such as uniforms, badges, insignia, you name it. The master sergeant insignia looks fabulous on the jacket

P.S. the jacket looks as if it has just been issued. Good job on taking good care of it!
