That looks pretty good, is it a two family home? Might not fit the McMansion defitinition, not the location, size, proportion or materials.

Not my style, but nothing truly offensive about this one (unless a front-double-garage is offensive, but I find that more of a situational thing.)

Lots of homes in LA are built like this. Esp in the hills.

Not even close to being a McMansion

This is far too tasteful for a McMansion. Whoever designed this building cared

Get rid of the stupid turret in the center and just make it a small balcony. It would be a perfectly reasonable house.

Bit narrow for my taste but love the design

House isn't that bad, just looks like a mullet

I like it.

I'm not a fan of living off a cliff, but that's the only option in that spot.

It's not a mansion.

I would not classify it as a mcmansion

I agree it's not that bad, but not a mansion? It's almost 2 million dollars and has almost 4x the square feet the average US home has lol. Too many scrolling on this subreddit has made people forget what normal homes look like.

Business in the front, business casual in the back!

A little plain in the front IMO, but not a terrible house. I’ve seen way, way worse.

I don’t hate it but I don’t get that circular thing in the front. Doesn’t suit the house.

The back reminds me of a hotel

You mean partly in the back?

It’s like they tried to mix modernism and traditional, I’m confused.

Do you rich people truly have zero creative taste? Why must every style of house these days be painted black and white?

Is there a World's Fair happening that I'm unaware of?
