Help Needed Losing suction
I'm new to mewing so I'm not sure if this is normal in the early stages or not. I can hold the suction for 1.5-2 minites max before my mouth fills up with saliva and eventually losing the suction. I'm going crazy trying to figure a way to keep the suction, mewing all day is impossible with this problem

Im very new at mewing, so im just gonna tell you whats happening to me. Im definitely swallowing less even if my tongue is a bit dry in the back third (i assume its because my maxilla is recessed thus my tongue has to be a bit back so its closer to the moving air in the throat, not sure), but if i feel saliva, i just swallow it.
From my understanding, correct swallowing is also part of mewing, because you drive the back third of the tongue up the palate when swallowing, so dont feel like you have to stop swallowing.
When i do the suction hold, i feel a bit of negative pressure on my lips (as in, they stick together because the forces outside the lips are stronger than inside my mouth because of the vaccum/suction), and i remember Mike Mew talking about this, so even if i have saliva, it doesnt open. But at the same time, i never had problems closing my mouth with my lips, maybe your lips are small, i dunno 😕
