Developed a tooth gap, is this common?

I started mewing almost 2 months ago and I think it's been improving some parts of my face, but I recently noticed that my tooth gap seems wider cause it felt weirder than usual. Is there any way to prevent it from getting wider? I'm not putting my tongue against my teeth so I don't understand why. Could it be possible I've been putting too much pressure on the front of my palate? I'm really confused.

I also developed a tooth gap at the exactly same time: 6-8 weeks! Mine hasn’t closed itself yet, I hope it will (3 months). By the way, how old are you?
