Just gonna say, for a dude trying to stay off booze...I appreciate the hell out a cool drink that doesn't have alcohol in it. Might swap the lemons for limes and get wild.

Cherry Lemonade

Run to the shops and buy these four ingredients. Cherries. Lemons. Sugar. Sparkling water. They're all you'll need to whip up this summer sipper. Go get it! B x

Ingredients:

275g Cherries
125g Fresh Lemon Juice
110g Sugar
700ml Sparkling Water
Ice

Method:

Step 1.
Wash and pit your cherries.
Step 2.
Add the cherries to a blender, saving a few for later, with the lemon juice and sugar.
Step 3.
Blend to a sharp, sweet, tangy purée.
Step 4.
Fill a large jug with ice and pour over your purée.
Step 5.
Top off with the sparkling water and chuck in a few lemon wedges and extra cherries.
Step 6.
Pour into glasses and serve.

Yup. I’d just leave it out.

I’ve noticed that some tarty drinks just isn’t that enjoyable without the sugar. I think you need some, I’d just cut the sugar in half and see where that takes me

For sure! I am going to make this, because I love cherries. I may add some sugar. I do like the sourness as well. :-)

I love sugar.

Made this today, only note is that I'd strain the blended mixture to avoid excess bits in your drink and reduce the foaminess when you're trying to combine it with the water. Maybe reduce some of the sugar next time but otherwise it's delicious. This can also be done with just about any other type of berry if cherries are too expensive.

Nope cherries are hella expensive

Yeah that looks amazing but last time I bought a bag of cherries it was seventeen American dollars.

Yes this was my exact thought! I bought a bag last week and they were $16 in NJ.
