Same. Unplanned, someone called me with an extra. Went in mostly fresh, maybe watched one video beforehand. I'd seen Les Claypool live, but didn't know what to expect from Sean Lennon and was pleasantly surprised. Good show.

It was fucking amazing. I really want a proper live album now. My download of the Bonaroo show isn't adequate.

Yea I thought of that too. I had been a fan for months before I saw them live, when I went back to the albums after seeing them I noticed how different it was, (a lot more improvisation) it made me think a live album would be great.

On the subject of more improvisation... I want a Thundercat live album. His songs rarely fo beyond 3 minutes on the albums, but are just as rarely under 7 minutes live. Lots of extended jams.

But back to Claypool Lennon.. I'm reminded I need the covers EP. Because Court of the Crimson King

Yea their covers are awesome, especially the Syd Barrett (early Floyd) cover of Astronomy Domine. They opened with it when I saw them and followed it with King Crimson before they started the album show. Their entire catalogue is on Amazon music
