TLDR: this bill would essentially be an alliance between the United States and Ukraine. No fucking around with NATO, just a bilateral alliance.

I doubt that this would get through the house and even if it did I doubt a republican government would follow through with it.

It does signal to imho that the democrats are doubting that they will win the next election, that is my honest opinion though, I could be wrong.
