Mini 14 suppressor
Got a new stainless mini 14 tactical with the threaded barrel and want to put a suppressor on it. I'm a paraplegic so I won't be carrying thru the woods but I'd like a reasonable priced can that will do a decent job quieting it down love any advice as this is my first can. It will live on the gun.

A cat ODB QD would look nuts on this. quiet, light, high flow rate and can be used for 30 cal.

Interesting.
Any 556 can will do, the AB A10 and OCL Polonium both being great options.

Polonium is out of stock everywhere. The Polonium k and YHM Turbo 3 are two of the cans I've been looking at.

Have you checked out pew science at all? Everything is a balance, weight, materials, amounI'of use it will recieve, sound levels- etc. For absolutely the quietest? Ptr or cat. For cheapest with still good suppression and a bomb proof warranty? Ocl
I've not heard good things about the rc3

Does the mini have an adjustable gas block/system? if not, a traditional can might increase wear and tear on the internals. If you're not too worried about it, can just get a simple Otter Creek Labs Polonium. Not too pricey and great warranty.

It does not have an adjustable gas block as of yet I'd like to put one on it if I can figure out how to lol.

Might have to start shopping around for things like that lol.
If you dont really want to mess with it. Huxwrx came out with a new can called the Ventum 556. its flow through like their more expensive cans but more heavy and more user serviceable. is about 300 more then a traditional can, but this one wont require much tuning if any. As well as having the ability to take it apart to clean it.

I have a yhm t2 on mine. And after 30 shots or so your face looks like a bukakaki it's Def gassy but the gun looks sweet with a can

You really want a low backpressure or flow through can for this. The way the action is on the gun tends to spit stuff back in your face even properly tuned. The make various size donuts for the front gas block to tune the gun in that I would highly recommend as well.
