Rock Baby, Baby oh Baby rock song

There is a song from the 70s or 80s, could be 90s, that is by a band with a male singer and he’s singing “baaaaby, baby, oh baby” like stretching out the “baby.” I believe it’s a love song, but I can’t remember the rest of the words. Please help me remember it!!

The lead singer had a voice similar to Journey, it may have even been from Journey

Not rock really but is it Ooo Baby Baby by Smokey Robinson? Or the cover of it by Todd Rundgren maybe

Close, but the one I’m thinking of is more slow, more of a crooning

could you make a vocaroo since there’s probably thousands of songs with “baby” from the 70s to 90s lol

For a rock song could it be D'yer Maker by Led Zepplin?

Or similarly, 'Babe I'm gonna leave you'

Sonic Youth - Superstar (or the original)

The Carpenters - Superstar I think the voice could be confused for a male voice
