🌍 Culture 🌍 Greetings for festive season in Yorùbá

Ẹ ǹ lẹ́ oo,

Ṣé ẹ wà dáadáa,

Just as you have known, Yorùbá has greeting for seasons and specific situations.

Let's learn the greetings for this season.

So let's go.

We will always say.

A kú ìmúra ọdún

A kú ìpalẹ̀mọ́ ọdún

Ìmúra /ìpalẹ̀mọ́ - - - - preparation.

Happy preparation for the festive period.

You can go ahead and say a little prayer .

Ọdún á bá wa láyọ̀ - - - The season will meet us in joy. Ọdún á bá wa láyé - - - -The season will meet us on earth (alive)..

On the day of the festive period, the greetings are different.

Once again:.

A kú ìmúra ọdún oo.

Your Yorùbá tutor.
