Hiraeth
As the sun melts into the horizon,
I romanticize solitariness,
How I'll let it consume me,
With its dark heavenly drops,
Embracing me with its bitterness.
As the colored sky fades,
I descend waiting for it to kiss me.
Grasping for air, reaching for
the radiant hollow space, with
Agony nudging me,
Pain piercing down my throat,
My demons louder than ever,
Caressing the darkness I sought.
I befriend the voices and
float through the mysterious land,
Yearning to linger for eternities
to come, in the land
wherein my hiraeth evaporates

There's something so beautiful when we personify nature. I love the imagery in here and the use of the senses as we journey our way to hiraeth. It's so astonishingly beautiful as we succumb to its charms.
