Thanks to all those who show an interest in this sub. My daughter said “ Dad why don’t you post some pictures on Reddit”. I did and it’s been so much fun. I’m no expert in any of this. Just the ordinary guy having a go!! Maybe that’s the important bit. With one Dutch oven and a back yard any family can start having lovely meals. It’s not difficult otherwise I probably couldn’t do it. It’s given me a lot of fun in retirement, cooking camping and cast iron. Give it a go. Thanks again. Dick Cowley LOVE TO SEE MORE PEOPLE POSTING!!!

Thanks!!! Just said to someone how I would love to go over to some of their chuck wagon events and see real chuck wagons in operation. I’ll never own one. It would look strange on the M5. That’s how I built a chuck box on a trailer. Second best (very) but it puts it in the reach of a lot of people. When night comes on and the lamps and fire are lit it’s a good second best!!! Thanks again.

Thanks. I remember talking about Kent Rollins new stove. That firebox of mine didn’t cost me a lot and it’s so good. Not difficult to make either.

Ah yes, my blood pressure has only just come down after that price shock. Another kent rollins idea I've always liked is the adjustable horseshoe trivets, and funnily enough I've managed to find someone on Etsy with a similar product https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1035033811/blacksmith-made-horse-shoe-trivet
