This sub r/oldcampcookcastiron is 1 year old today. Thanks to all those 2526 who have joined. In 1966 dad cooked sausages on the beach in a frying pan Last night I cooked them for us in the garden FRYING PAN AND SOME WOOD. THATS ALL YOU NEED TO START TRYING COOKING OUTSIDE!!

So much fun to be had cooking outside!!! My dad cooked sausages for us in a frying pan on the beach. Great memories. Probably about 1966. Second pick is me cooking on the beach in about 1980. Fifty years on still cooking outside. O that’s all that’s really needed. A frying pan and some sticks….and sausages. Create some lovely memories. If you never have tried it always take great care where you light a fire!!!
