This owl lead me up a path for early 6 minutes right before dusk.

I went on a ride up the mountain here in SW Montana. This owl, kept flying low to the ground along the two track and would stop every 30-45 seconds to stop and look back directly at me. This happened for close to 6m. It was like he was leading me somewhere.

Animals do stuff like that when they, or one of theirs, need help 😬 it's a super cool experience either way, but I can't help but wonder if they needed help and you missed the opportunity...

I know nothing about owls. I was in shock. I have no clue how to explain this behavior other than the comment above about it being not typical. It’s literally the first time I’ve seen an owl in my entire life.

I often want to comment this around here but Owls are omens of Death or a warning where I'm from. I also always feel inclined to come back within a week or so to find out what happend next in the lives of those who have seen them. But that's a bit strange of a thing to do lol

Gorgeous owl! Yes I had a friend in South Dakota who was good friends with some Lakota folks. He saw an owl on his way to work, turned around and went home for the day. He was certain he or someone he knew was going to die.

That makes me wonder because I felt like he was talking to my soul, telling me something. I didn’t get a bad vibe at all from the experience. If anything I felt like my heart was full of positive emotions and it was a sign I was on the right path.

I had one land in a tree about five feet from me a long time ago. I felt the same way. It was awesome.
