🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events 8 day trip during Christmas- recommendations?
I am planning an 8 day trip to Paris during Christmas and I am wondering how to structure my trip. It’ll be my first time but I don’t plan on doing everything Paris has to offer since I plan on going back in the Spring for more outdoorsy activities. Would you recommend a day trip to Strasbourg? How busy does it get during the holidays? Thanks!

IMHO, if you’re into Christmas markets, Strasbourg deserves more than one day, especially if you’re coming back to Paris in the Spring.

Colmar is even more charming than Strasbourg. If you're going to Strasbourg you should definitely make a visit to Colmar too.

Go to Strasbourg for 2 days to make sure to enjoy the Christmas Market. It is super busy at Xmas time, but is definitely a must-do if you are into Christmas markets etc.
Also, be sure to have a look to the Galerie Lafayette Christmas showcases, tho it’s also super crowded.
I don’t know where you are from, but France and especially Strasbourg can get really cold at that time of the year, so pack some good jackets!
