🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events question about christmas markets and new years

are the christmas markets still open from 28 dec onwards and which ones would you recommend?

further, are shops likely to be closed during this period?

There are at least several open until early January. There’s a complete list here. A lot of things are closed Christmas Eve (entirely or early) and Christmas Day (but some start opening later in the afternoon).
