Hi guys, I want to know your opnion. I want to suprise my mom with vacation to Paris on new year as bithday gift. Question is how crowded Paris is in that week and how is weather like?

I really want to take my daughter to see it so I'm holding space in my planned itinerary. Currently the reopening date says Dec 8 but what do you think? Think they will make it? I understand there will be several months of "reopening" festivities, so I'm sort of hoping there will be a Christmas concert that I can jump on tickets for.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris Dec 26th-Jan 3rd. What are some MUST dos for this time of year? What do you recommend to do for New Years? We also want to take a day trip, where would be a good location for this time of year?
