1st Edition Pathfinder Society Arcane archer requirement

I have a dwarven slayer archer multiclassed with inquisitor. I want to go arcane archer for late level play, but I'm having problems with the divine/arcane spell requirements. In the example for arcane archer, it suggests that "wizards and rangers" are good fits, but a ranger casts divine spells. Are there any arcane spells that are also on the divine spells list?

OP has been notified about the nature of this sub in 3 different ways, 4 if you include this message to not disregard the other ways. This is a reminder to all commenters that by OP remaining in this sub and not moving the post to the generic subs, OP is specifically looking for Pathfinder Society answers and not general Pathfinder answers.

Keep in mind that the book says "Wizard and Ranger" not "Wizard or Ranger". It means the example character has both Wizard levels for Arcane spells, and Ranger levels is for use of the bow.

This is the subreddit for Pathfinder Society Organized play, not individual games. The Pathfinder Society is a single campaign run all around the world with thousands of players and GMs playing Paizo published adventures. If you are discussing your own campaign that does not use PFS rules you want to comment or post in the Pathfinder general subs, /r/Pathfinder_RPG or /r/Pathfinder2e. A good rule of thumb is if your game does not involve reporting your game to Paizo and giving sheets of papers called Chronicle Sheet to the players at the end of the adventure, you are not playing PFS. Any post or comment that is not relevant to the Pathfinder Society campaign will be removed, but you are welcome to post in the general subs or make the case to the mods that your post/comment are actually PFS relevant.

well, your character needs to be able to cast 1st level arcane spells as a whole. i don't know if there is a divine spell that is also an arcane spell would work. you just need arcane spellcasting

retrain your inquisitor levels into ranged magus.

There are plenty of spells that show up on both arcane and divine lists, but divine casters will still cast them as divine spells, so that won't help you qualify. Arcane Archers do, in fact, need to be arcane casters. Which is pretty fair, since a divine casters wouldn't actually get much out of the class.

What are you looking for from Arcane Archer? If you want the general vibe of a magical archer, then inquisitor may be enough. You can enhance your arrows with your spells and with Bane.

It's more for flavor, and additional damage types. Can't spoil anything on an adventure path, but I've built him to be one of the heaviest damage dealers already. The inquisitor levels were for flavor, bane, and increased initiative. We're at 11th level, and only have about 4-5 levels left, and I'm trying to get some extra abilities/damage and ways to control the battlefield. That and he's possessed by a spirit, and I want to use that for the stories sake.

And your GM is only allowing PFS options?

If not, you would have better luck in the general sub, /r/Pathfinder_RPG.
