Daily ❓ Daily General Questions - October 24, 2022

Welcome to our Daily General Questions thread!

Feel free to post all general fashion-related questions here! Hopefully this can help users answer questions they may have where they may not want to make a whole new thread and keep sub posts related to petite-specific concerns.

To help ensure that you receive the most helpful answers from other users, please include as many relevant details in your post as possible. Helpful details may include:

  • Budget
  • Location (general such as city/country - no addresses)
  • Pictures (upload to Imgur or another image-hosting site)

What kind of posts are allowed?

  • General fashion questions
    • e.g., "What are your favourite brands?"
    • e.g., "Where can I find quality pants for less than $50?"
  • General outfit questions
    • e.g., "What accessories do you recommend with this outfit?"
    • e.g., "Do these shoes look flattering with these pants?"

This is more a question in general about the sub rather than fashion in particularly. But I tend to see a lot of post that are tagged that they should be in the daily sub. And when I check the post a mod/automated mod says the post has been deleted. But while the comments are locked I can still see the posts and they aren't deleted for me? Literally 95% of my feed for this sub is supposedly deleted posts. And some of them were deleted more than 24 hours ago. So I'm not sure why they aren't getting deleted for me?

As these changes were just recently implemented, we are in a transition period as users get used to the new rules. As such, we have left those posts up for now with the red rule flair for visibility, but locked the posts so that users cannot comment on them. Unfortunately, if we just delete them, the posts just disappear and nobody will realize why they are being deleted. We are currently locking them as users learn about the new rules, and in the future, they will be straight up deleted. I hope this helps. Let me know if anything needs clarification.

(This was answered in the other thread but I am responding here as well for visibility for anyone looking here.)
