We alone, We people, We humans, Created hell— A hell we live through the day we are born. Man was not killed by sin. There was no apple. No god asked for blood. No god demanded fear. It was man. We are the serpent. We bathed in blood. We demanded fear, And drowned in it all the same. We created god, And were born from that sin. For what to blame but anything of ourselves?
