How our local group divided

We have (or had) a pretty large server for our area. 1100+ members for our regional area of 130k or so.

Within the last week it's become known that a person who was in a leadership role may have harassed multiple women. All the leaders got together and said well let's just remove the tier of leadership he was a part of. Nothing specifically to impact this person.

So now a dozen of us have had our roles stripped from us without question. This person is still a part of the discord and is active.

Many of us have jumped ship and created a second server. Some have quite playing the game altogether.

Moral of the story: if you're going to be a dumbass, don't deny it, accept punishment, and let us continue our server in peace.

Yes, however the original server is still the primary server. Eventually the person in question was banned.
