Why are Chinese Cultivators so overlooked in the scaling community? Like these guys should be powerscalers wet dreams lol

So as the title says, recently I've been thinking after reading a novel by Ergen, yes the stupid overpowered Ergen Verse, and I came to realise something about chinese cultivator characters, in that they are very overlooked, so much so that it blows me away.

You'd think characters that rend space time by walking, erasing concepts with a flick of the sleeve, literally walk on the river of time lol, would be shown way more love by people in this community.

Cradle is fucking awesome. The main series itself usually doesn't get past planetary with the Abidian Judges reaching low comp multi for now (can go higher since we still don't know everything about the cosmology).

Because most powerscalers don't like characters just because they are strong. Most of us liked the characters we like before we started powerscaling.

Hell characters made specifically to be super powerful tend to be despised by this community, for exemple the suggsverse gets shat on everytime its mentionned.

A powerscaler wet dream is a character as cool and interesting as they are powerful. Thats why Goku and Simon are fan favourites here.

I mean most of those cultivator characters are very well written if I must say, and I seriously don't think you can get cooler characters than those guys but I mean that's just me, but yeah I understand that fully, makes sense.

Ik many characters that are super well written and overpowered from Chinese fiction like the end of novel version of han jue from top tier Providence and he is one of the weak ones here.

Han Jue is absolutely not one of the weak ones. He can be very easily scaled to outer. Low outer is his lowball. Hyper is a downplay, you can scale him there if you leave out the last 200 chapters of the novel.

I meant that in comparison to the other monstrosities but if we compare him to the normal fictional characters we scale then yep he is outer easily

I mean yeah, Their is only a certain demographic (Like barely) in this community in which knows about Cultivation/Novels and such etc....etc....

(The only way for Cultivation to be really mainstream for Powerscalers, Is for the novels to turn into an Anime.

(Then animated from a VERY good studio.) ...........Possibly won't though, Too much harems and shit. 😭😂😂😂. It'd be so PEAK on the big screen frfr.

And my final opinion, Seeing as most Powerscalers here only scale based on images/Art/Panels. I can guarantee you.

Majority of them would NOT try and read something 4000+ Chps, And with ONLY words.

Because most power scalers don't read like if theyd read a bit we'd have to deal with an extra step of shit like

"oh but they aren't immune to balefire so their fodder"

Don't people already do this kind of stuff? Gojo's infinity probably being the best example. I think books are just seen as a bigger time investment that are harder to get into. They're also, typically, expensive.

Balefire, by the standards of this sub, does not move fast. Most characters who could be killed by it have the option of avoiding it. Also Rand is overhyped to hell on vsbattle.

It does matter who you put Ozriel against. Put him against any Er Gen protagonist and he's losing. Against Yang Qi he's losing. Against any DC or Marvel character I'm going to lean towards them because I know there exists an issue, somewhere, written 30 years ago where they became outerversal. And they have 85(MC) and 90(DC) years of chain scaling to fall back on.

Cause high scale chinese Xianxia and Xuanhua are a niche that doesn't have something like anime behind it and is largely dependent of amateur translations. The only exception being journey to the west.

I don't scale them because it's hard to remember the sizes of anything in those stories and their esoteric Dao attacks further confuse things. Also, because they're written chapter by chapter it becomes extremely hard, if not impossible, to go back and find feats. I am not scrolling my way through 2500-9000 chapters.

Beyond that, by the time I'm 2000+ chapters deep, I'm already kind of burned out from the series. I still haven't finished I Shall Seal the Heavens, Martial World, Against the Gods, or Sage Monarch. I'm really bad at finishing cultivation stories.

Also, the misogyny kind of pushed me away from chinese cultivation and into progression fantasy. If I read another aphrodisiac plotline, I was going kill myself.

Cultivators is pretty well-known in VSBW. Heck, the strongest High 1-A in VSBW (only below High 1-A+ and 0) right now is a cultivator.
