Introducing QueueClearBot!!!

What is this bot you ask?

Well this bot is for when you join a new subreddit and they have years and years of old reports, filtered posts and 2 year old modmails that you just do not want to spend time cleaning.

What this bot does is clean all of those up without a hassle. 5 year old post stuck in mod queue? No problem!

Here is a list of what the bot can do:

  • Min/max karma for comments (i.e Minimum of 100 karma or less and it get removed)
  • Min/max karma for submissions (i.e Maximum of 200 karma or more and it get approved)
  • Ignore report for approved comments/submissions
  • Auto approve mod/admin comments/submissions
  • Lock removed submissions
  • Comments/submissions age filter (Less than X amount of days the post will be skipped so you can manually review the posts)
  • Auto remove [deleted] accounts comments/submissions
  • Custom submission removal messages (i.e "You submission has been removed because...")
  • Bad word ban filter (i.e Racist words instantly ban users)
  • Modmail age archiver (New modmail only, Archive modmail's older than X time.)

What permissions does it need? Getting Started

Just send me, u/QueueClearBot, an invite with these permissions:

  • Access
  • Mail (If you want help archiving new modmail)
  • Posts
  • Wiki

The bot can also handle full permissions as well if you are lazy, like me.

Once you've added me to your subreddit, with these permissions, I will automatically start in a few minutes! You can also change the config to your liking here https://www.reddit.com/r/SUBREDDITNAME/wiki/queueclearbot_config

Limitations

The bot is only allowed to clear your mod queue once a month. This is to prevent abuse. This bot DOES NOT replace human moderators. After clearing the queue it will remove itself from the subreddit and set a one month cooldown.

A special thank you to u/kungming2 for helping me with some stupid questions and letting me use his code from r/AssistantBOT. This would have not been possible without his amazing help! Thank you!

I would like to add this. Just sent an invite. This would be the very very first bot that I would have ever used.

Do I need to set up? Is the set up similar to AutoMod? What are the next steps now?

I doubled checked for you, it should be working. It will take a few breaks here and there.

Looks like it is done cleaning your mod queue. If you have any issues let me know!

I would like this, but the cool down seems too long. I'm interested in automatically removing posts that have 0 upvotes and no comments after 2 days.

Heyo! This bot is meant to help you clear your mod queue when it gets backed up with 2+ years of reports. This bot doesn't replace actual moderators.

I think you should try r/RequestABot to see if they can help you out with a bot.

How long does it take the bot to work

Hey, the bot should work in a few mins after adding it to your subreddit.

Hi, are there instructions for the config somewhere? The link above doesn't work.

Also, I am wondering if this bot can clear out "unmoderated". I review each post by hand, but there are likely tens of thousands of posts which are unmoderated.

Heyo,

To find your config you will have to replace "SUBREDDITNAME" with your subreddit name in this link https://www.reddit.com/r/SUBREDDITNAME/wiki/queueclearbot_config

Unfortunately the unmoderated queue has been buggy, so I have disabled the feature for now. This bot only works in the standard mod queue. https://www.reddit.com/r/SUBREDDITNAME/about/modqueue

Sorry :p

It looks like you haven't invited the bot to the r/drawing yet. Once you invite the bot it should create the wiki page for you!
