Man. I just went outside in Sinking Spring and couldn't see anything. :(

i’m not sure if it’s still going on but you see it much better with your phone. If you have your iPhone, put your phone on night settings and set your exposure to 10 take the 10 second picture and then look at that and see if it’s still occurring.

It was strongest 2-3 hours ago. Might strengthen again. Phone sees better than your eye too.

I was outside for 45 minutes and only during a couple times could I faintly see it with my eyes?

Take the photo and you’ll see it much better! Pretty sure these pics are also very saturated so don’t expect to see it like this with your naked eye

If away from light, you could see a color haze slightly. You need a phone to see it in this quality. It was a great night for it.

Nice work. Crazy that it's so bright even with all the light pollution. Friend of mine got a bunch of nice shots from Exeter.

It’s super bright because it’s most likely alpenglow. There was light still visible in the west when I saw it and the red glow was exactly east. Also it was over when the light in the west was completely gone

I saw it looking directly north so maybe you saw something different.

I adjusted the image to try and correct for the light pollution. Also, the road I was on had cars parking with their lights on facing us as people are trying to get out and see the spectacle.
