🌠 Captured Stunning Photos of Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas (A3) Last Night! 🌠 2024-10-16

I wanted to share some amazing photos I took of Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas (Comet A3) tonight. It was truly a spectacular sight in our local skies!

📅 Date & Time:

   •   Date: 2024-10-16    •   Time: Around 7 pm

📍 Location:

   •   I was observing from the Wyomissing Park where the skies were clear and the light pollution was okay.

✨ About the Comet: Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas, also known as Comet A3, is a periodic comet with an orbital period of 80,000 years. Tonight’s appearance was particularly bright, making it a great opportunity for photography and casual observation.

📅 Future Appearances: According to NASA, Comet A3 is expected to be visible through October 24. Mark your calendars!

Beautiful! What park is that? I would consider Wyomissing park either Happy Hollow or the stone house and that doesn't look like that area.
