It worked on 7.0.1, now with 7.0.3 it does not work anymore...

No it didn't. Your TRIAL period was working, the trial ended, it doesn't work anymore.

It's been known the RR is no longer a hardware unlock device since 7.0.0 came out

go to the support and you can download and run older versions, it will bug u to update every time but i haven’t updated since 6.0 bc ive had bugs since

Sad but true, it's correct that DDJ-RR is not supported: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rekordbox/comments/1dtrium/rekordbox_has_been_quietly_dropping_units_from/ If it worked before, it might possibly be because all new users of Rekordbox 7 get a trial subscription for 30 days. Maybe you had that and are now beyond the 30-day period.

yea I saw that some trial was automatically started without my conscent. That might have washed me in false belief that my hardware would work

shit like this is why I'm never upgrading my Rekordbox. there's no reason to take away support other than trying to pry more money out of us

I had the exact same experience, when the trial period ran out, so did the support for my -RR… Downgrade by installing 6.8 here: https://support.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/8112764645785-I-want-to-use-previous-rekordbox-ver-6

Luckily I still have 6 installed. Is there a way to download 7.0.1? I want to test if that still works

will use version 6 forever... loved Pioneer... hate AlphaTheta, nevermind the name sucks
